Welcome

Have you always loved the sound of bagpipes?

Yeah, me too. If you’re looking for an experienced performer for your next event, or if you’re looking to learn how to play for yourself, well you’re in the right place.

My name’s Nate. I’m an experienced player and performer of a variety of Scottish and Irish related bagpipes, and I’ve be at it for more than 20 years. Piping is a passion of mine, and it’s one I love to share.

My rates for both performances and lessons are quite reasonable. You can find sound samples and more on the performance page, and if you’re looking for lessons, I’ve set up a number of pages geared toward helping you get started.

I launched this site in June of 2019 mainly as a resource for prospective students. But it’s also a place where I can post various musings on all things piping-related. In the months following, it’s my hope that this page will be chock-full of bagpiping-esque info. Time will tell, though there’s already quite a large amount of info.

So dig in, and get some info on this music that has so enhanced my life. Get in touch, whether through the site here or via Facebook. Maybe one or two other social media outlets, but I confess … I get tired of updating umpteen various media platforms—frankly, I’d rather be piping.

Cheers and chunes,
~Nate
